We are busily working on the vital Youth groups resource. We have 40 topics under production based on the VITAL values cards within the VITAL paradigm. Bec, Tom and Jim are just amazing in their ability to think and write creatively to come up with dynamically engaging content. Jim is hard at work in the photo. We have been meeting regularly to brainstorm the ideas and then they go away to fill in the detail. We are working towards having 16 topics ready for the VITAL training events in October and the full set of resources available in January of 2010. You will be able to purchase and download the resources from the website when they become available.

In my role as coordinator of VITAL projex I get to spend time looking for ways to grow what we do to have a bigger impact on the lives of young people. If you have ideas, or constructive feedback to offer then send it my way. I have a motto of any idea is a good idea so don't think your suggestion is lame or that someone else might have suggested it because it all paints a picture of where the spirit of God might leading us.

It was a real blast to get to know the people who came along to VITAL in April. I learnt a lot about what people get out of the training. I am still new to my role, I only started at the end of January 2009. One of the exciting things for me is seeing how well the training is being received and being a part of the dreaming process about what we might be able to offer into the future. The staff are wonderful to work with and really passionate about their roles, there is a real buzz in being a part of the team. I have taken the time to upload a whole stack of photos from the event onto facebook. The links are public so you will be able to view them without being a member of facebook.
