V.I.T.A.L. is a training process that provides an effective framework for youth workers to use whenever working with a variety of young people. It is particularly effective when working with 'youth at risk'.
During the course, participants are trained to run “No Limits” – a school-based program that has met with outstanding results in assisting young people to value and explore their potential.
While focus is placed on the “No Limits” program, the V.I.T.A.L. training process is transferable to working with all types of young people and situations (leadership programs, camps, youth groups, bible studies.
The course outline with each program has a flexibility in which it is designed to achieve the goals and needs of the group. The VITAL Facilitators, with feedback from participants develop this needs-based program before and during the program itself.
Re-adjustments and fine-tuning are an integral part of the training program. Prior and ongoing consultation throughout the program allows personnel and the program participants “ownership” of the program as it constantly adapts it to their needs.
